Dancing, Floating, and Journeying Back Into Harvard

As summer ends and we think of classes to search and reunions with buddies, we might also think of just how to re-engage with Harvard following a summer time away. I’ve been away for over a 12 months on my space 12 months, and through that time little things calcified Harvard’s image within my head being a place that is gloomy. Out from the Harvard ecosystem, numerous buddies felt safe to confide in me personally the depth of the battles and loneliness. We chatted with buddies in regards to the environment that is toxic Winthrop House final semester underneath the leadership of previous Winthrop House Faculty Dean Ronald S. Sullivan. And I scrolled through the anonymous grim confessions on the Harvard Confessions Twitter page of pupils experiencing unappreciated and unsupported.
